Receiving Jesus Is A Surrender

Romans 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

What we need to be saved is to surrender to Jesus and trust His power to save us.

John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for WITHOUT ME YE CAN DO NOTHING.

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them GAVE HE POWER to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

I received Him when I learned that without Him I was spiritually helpless. The list of things that He can do that I cannot do is endless. I do not have the power to be happy or satisfied without Him. I do not have the power to accomplish anything of spiritual value without Him. I do not have the power to be saved and avoid Hell without Him. Men simply do not have the power to save themselves or one another.

Jeremiah 10:23 O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

Psalms 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

Isaiah 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

Romans 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

If you want to become a child of God and begin following Him invite Jesus to come into your heart and lead you.
